THE POP EXPOSE – Remembering James Caan!

Hello everyone. Today we remember another great actor James Caan. Caan was born in the Bronx in 1940 and passed away last week. Caan grew up in NYC and went to Michigan State for 2 years, transferred to Hofstra, and eventually joined the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre. There he found his passion and in the early sixties started getting small parts in movies and television.

Caan has landed some well known parts over the years like Sonny Corleone in The Godfather, Paul Sheldon In Misery, and of course the beloved Walter Hobbs in Elf. He has had many wonderful movies over the years such as El Dorado where he starred along side John Wayne, The Gardens of Stone where he starred along side James Earl Jones, and Eraser where he starred along side Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Caan was nominated for many award over the years and has been a staple in the Hollywood community. His legacy will live on through his many works and he will be missed dearly. RIP Mr. Caan.
